Recommended: Yes, it is my favorite track day tire. Final Thoughts: Continental race tires perform exceedingly well until they heat cycle out.

Recommended: Yes, but would like to try other options. Final Thoughts: Fast, consistent race tire. Since these were take-offs (used) they were likely not quite as fast as they were the first few heat cycles. Still, they are a fast consistent tire and last a long time with proper alignment/camber settings. Excellent value for a used tire. Tire slip angles are such that they should really be used by an advanced/instructor level driver. Breakaway characteristics are not bad, but novice/intermediate drivers could get into trouble. Feedback is not the same as a street tire or most R-compound tires (such as Nitto NT-01 or Toyo RA1). Also, proper track suspension and alignment is necessary to get the most out of this tire.
