Recommended: Yes, but would like to try other options. Final Thoughts: A significant step up from an "extreme" street tire. First few laps on brand new NT01s are greasy/squirmy/scary, but once the mold release compound has worn off, they grip extremely well. Nicely predictable and communicative at the limit. The tread design does make a significant amount of noise, even in straight-line running. Grip actually increases as the tire wears the tread down to a slick-type tread surface. Great longevity, tremendous value. Once the tread starts to wear, though, they have ZERO wet grip.
