Recommended: Yes, but would like to try other options. Final Thoughts: Very good tire for short sprints. Surprisingly, they withstood a rather long sprint race (35-40 min.) in brutally hot weather- high 90s and humid, full sun.

Recommended: Yes, but would like to try other options. Final Thoughts: Better than R6, same life. Set my best lap at COTA with these, faster than R1 and R6.

Recommended: Yes, but would like to try other options. Final Thoughts: Good DE tire. Not as fast as Hankook Z-214 or Hoosier but has decent grip longer.

Recommended: Yes, it is my favorite track day tire. Final Thoughts: Nearly as sticky as an R6, but last much longer in terms of heat cycles and life to cording.

Note (Comm Dry): it's like a wooden wagon wheel/Numb and unpredictable Recommended: Yes, it is my favorite track day tire. Final Thoughts: Great tire with a relatively long lifespan considering what it is.

Recommended: Yes, it is my favorite track day tire. Final Thoughts: Very consistent lap times. Wears well under race conditions. Sticker Hoosier tire is a little quicker out the box, but these are more consistent for fast laps over the course of a race.

Recommended: Yes, but would like to try other options. Final Thoughts: Stiffer sidewall than the RS-3. Better braking and cornering. Not as much grip as a Toyo RR. Still using them for Wet trackdays. Good to drive to/from the track.

Recommended: Yes, but would like to try other options. Final Thoughts: The BFG Rival performed great for a street tire on track. The performance was best for the first few laps of a 30 minute session. After a few hot laps, the tire overheats somewhat and the lap times drop slightly. With that said, the tire was still very consistent for a street tire, and I was able to keep pace with and even pass other instructors on better R-compound or Race slicks. Driven well, the tire can stand up to some abuse and was very predictable on track.
